New Futures Launches Rebranded Web Site
New Futures, a DC-based scholarship program and OmniStudio's first pro bono ReachOut recipient, recently launched its newly branded Web site.
"The ReachOut project is Omni's way of supporting our community with the kind of specialized communications expertise and services that are normally out of reach for many small organizations," said Eileen Kessler, founder and president of OmniStudio.
New Futures, which began in 1991 with a bequest from Allen J. Gould, provides scholarships to at-risk youth and young adults seeking four-year degrees and professional certification through vocational programs.
"We selected New Futures because we were moved by its mission. Their practical and effective approach to scholarship giving really impressed us. We continue to be inspired by the hard work and dedication of the people who make the organization such a success—the enterprising students who are determined to lift themselves out of poverty, and the organization's founder, Mike Gould, staff, board and community partners," said Kessler.
Using our comprehensive print, Web and content development capabilities, Omni's goal is helping New Futures expand its public outreach efforts. This includes an innovative portfolio of new communications tools—a new visual identity, Web site, print brochure and newsletter.
Omni revitalized the New Futures logo with contemporary colors and a new look and tagline that reflects its mission and goals. Omni also drew on its print and content development divisions to create a new print brochure and newsletter.
The organization's new Web site (www.newfuturesdc.org) incorporates their new visual identity on a WordPress platform, a free, open-source option for Web management that will make it easy to update and keep costs low. The Web site showcases New Futures' students and community partners, focusing on the organization's successful track record in serving at-risk youth.
